Festival Rules (The Festival Way)

A few things to know before you arrive in order to ensure you are prepared and have the best time possible at the L.A. Acoustic Music Festival:

 

1)    No coolers allowed – you may bring a backpack or purse, subject to a friendly search on site, but coolers will not be allowed into the festival site.

2)    No smoking on the pier.

3)    No alcohol will be allowed to be brought into the festival from off premises.  This is to protect our alcohol license. There will be wine and beer to purchase inside the festival.

4)    No dogs are allowed on the Santa Monica Pier.

5)    No video or audio recordings of any kind will be allowed.  No flash photography.

6)    Chairs are provided at the venue for Gold/Silver, Premiere, and GA Seating – no personal chairs other than wheelchairs will be allowed in these sections. Seat cushions are not a bad idea to bring for those of us with aging bottoms. For Student and Special SRO seating, you may bring one small low-backed beach-type chair. 


7)    Don’t forget sunscreen and hats (not too high or wide-brimmed as a courtesy to those around you please).

8)    Car Pool – Please try to car pool to the Festival whenever possible. See the "Ride Sharing" section of our website. 

 

9) The Festival Way - you are welcome to put something on your seat to reserve it if you are in the Premier or GA sections. However, should you leave for awhile,  it is fine for someone to sit in your seat until you return. Gently ask them to get up once you return.
