Welcome! to the L.A. Acoustic Music Festivals 2011

The L.A. Acoustic Music Festival, that debuted on the Santa Monica Pier in 2009 with a stellar lineup, returns in two locations this year, both honoring the life and songs of American Troubadour Woody Guthrie. American  Folk Music is at the center of the music of our national heartland, and Woody Guthrie is its soul. Nothing illustrates this better than his famous song, “This Land is Your Land”,  only part of his rich musical heritage, which will be explored in these two festivals, fun and enriching for the entire family.

On April 8 - 10, 2011,  a "Guthrie Weekend in the Inland Empire" will come to Redlands and Riverside, with free community events at the San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands, and culminating in a concert with Folk Legend Arlo Guthrie, Woody's son, best know for "Alice's Restaurant" and Woodstock fame.

May 22, 2011 brings the return of the L.A. Acoustic Music Festival to Santa Monica at the Broad StageExperience 20th century American history and local lore through our daylong celebration of America’s favorite troubadour, Woody Guthrie.
